MEET THE TAYLORSVILLE ELEMENTARY
SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS
SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGISTS

Hello! My name is Paige Cochran, but most people just call me Miss Paige. I am a speech-language pathologist working for Spencer County Schools. The 2021-2022 school year is my 8th year with Spencer County School district this year and I am looking forward to continuing to work at Taylorsville Elementary School! I am a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University, where I received my Bachelors of Science as well as my Master’s Degree in Education and Rank 1 Certification. I grew up in Elizabethtown, Kentucky and have lived in Richmond, Kentucky and Knoxville, Tennessee over the past few years but now call Louisville home. I have had some clinical experience in a variety of settings such as nursing homes and assisted living facilities, as well as experience as a school system employee in Tennessee. In addition to working with school-age children, I also work PRN as a speech-language pathologist for Kentucky First Steps Early Intervention Program, where I serve children from birth-3 years of age. I enjoy going to concerts/festivals, hanging out with my awesome co-workers, visiting friends and family, gardening, reading, taking POUND classes, and participating in church activities. I cannot wait to see all of the progress my students will make!

Hi all! Greetings from Lauren Dabbikeh, better known as Miss Lauren, the headstart, preschool, and elementary school Speech-Language Pathologist for Spencer County Schools. I currently work at both Taylorsville Elementary School and Spencer County Elementary School. I was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky where I still reside today. I am a recent graduate student from the University of Kentucky where I received both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree to pursue a career as an SLP. Over the course of a few years, I have had experience working with a wide range of clients/patients. My clinical experience includes working in a nursing home, in an outpatient hospital setting, in a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and an elementary school with K-5th graders in JCPS. I have a passion for working with children and love seeing them grow in so many ways across the course of the school year. I am so excited for this school year and for many years to come!
