Good morning TES Tigers! As I'm sure you've heard by now, beginning Monday November 23rd we will return to full virtual/NTI instruction for all students in the district. If Spencer County is able to get out of the "Red Zone" for COVID 19, there is the possibility of return to school for our elementary/preschool kids on December 7th. Until then, students will continue school and therapy sessions virtually.
That being said, those who have existing virtual therapy sessions will continue to have those sessions at their normally scheduled time and day. Those who have been in person will be moving back into a 30 minute weekly block where they will attend therapy via Zoom. I realize this is not ideal, but we are doing what we can to make sure students miss out on as little as possible during this crazy year.
I will be contacting you with updates to your child's schedule if they have been attending school in-person for the last couple of months. Please let me know if there are any times that they will be in another Zoom for community building or interventions. Additionally, services will be from 8:30-3:30, or during school hours. If your child is unable to attend due to lack of internet service, we can provide in person services. These services are only for students who are UNABLE to participate virtually.
Again, we appreciate your flexibility and support during this school year. While things are not ideal, we believe that it is a time to work together and overcome adversity.
Thank you!
-Miss Lauren & Miss Paige
